Why GovDelivery Gives Back

GovDelivery partners with more than 1,000 public organizations around the world, whose missions range from getting struggling families back on their feet, to helping grow small businesses, to making sure more people have access to affordable healthcare. Inside the company, we know that with the talent, financial support, and collaboration of our employees, we too can do our part to make a positive impact on the communities where we live and work.

This year, GovDelivery has prioritized providing support for programs and organizations in our communities that are dedicated to addressing issues like food insecurity, affordable housing, healthcare, education and mentorship, and more. We’ve formed an internal team, affectionately titled GoodDelivery, to organize charitable giving and volunteerism in our offices across the world.

In 2015, we partnered with agencies including Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Heartland, SOME (So Others Might Eat), the Red Cross, and other local organizations to support the people and communities that have helped us grow from a small tech startup to the thriving international company we are today.

It’s important for us as a company to not just have a physical presence in places like St. Paul, New York, San Francisco and Washington DC, but to also have a stake in the wellbeing and success of these communities. By teaming with other businesses, non-profits, public agencies and charitable organizations, we can build a stronger community for our employees, colleagues, families, friends and neighbors.

Our customers set the bar high when it comes to driving meaningful impact and making communities stronger and more vibrant. The GoodDelivery team will continue to strive to make our communities better places to be – from building houses to donating food and clothing to mentoring the next generation of leaders and innovators.

This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for our employees, our clients, and the community partners who do so much to improve the lives of so many people.
