Major Granicus Investors: Vista Equity Partners and Harvest Partners

In August 2016, Vista Equity Partners (Vista), a leading global investment firm, acquired a majority stake in Granicus, a provider of cloud-based government transparency, legislative management and digital marketing solutions. Per the agreement, existing owner K1 Investment Management (K1) continued to maintain a minority stake in Granicus. In 2021, Harvest Partners became a major investor alongside Vista and K1, helping Granicus continue its mission to help governments better engage with the people they serve.

Since then, Granicus has grown through over a dozen mergers with other software companies, expanding its capabilities and product offerings in the public sector. As a result, Granicus has been able to help government customers increase transparency, become more efficient and improve citizen engagement.
