The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) sets aside a historic $65 billion investment in broadband funding. Out of this funding, it dedicates $2.75 billion to a State Digital Equity Grant Program and a Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program, both of which support activities centered around broadband adoption and digital inclusion, particularly for vulnerable populations. Central to both digital equity projects is ensuring that communities have the civic engagement tools in place to be able to reach the populations they’re serving.
As these programs open, it’s critical that governments and nonprofits be armed with the information they need to put together a competitive proposal. Join Granicus and special guests from the Grants Office for a deep dive into the guidance for both digital equity grant programs on Tuesday, August 16 at 1:00pm ET. We’ll provide overviews for each of the programs, discuss the key information you’ll need to gather, and provide suggestions for assembling a strong, compelling proposal.
If you’re looking to maximize the success of your digital equity grant proposal, you won’t want to miss this event!
