A New Series Highlighting Our Latest Customers

Each week, we’ll be welcoming new members of the ever-expanding Granicus customer family. To share our excitement, we’re now showcasing new customers and highlighting some of their unique characteristics that led them to the Granicus civic engagement platform. While this week’s featured customers are located a few states apart from one another, they are united by their shared commitment to transparency and expansion of opportunities for residents to remain actively involved with their communities.

Launched: govMeetings Tools Bring Cutting-Edge Technology to Queen Creek, AZ!

Once a sleepy railroad town offering refuge to weary workers ferrying goods to and from the local mine, Queen Creek, Arizona, is now a bustling suburb that is also home to several National Register of Historic Places sites and popular annual events.

With a population topping 50,000, this Maricopa County town just east of Phoenix is striving to serve its residents more effectively and simplify the civic engagement process. As part of that commitment, Granicus will partner with city officials to help residents find meeting agendas, watch and participate in public meetings, and apply to serve on a board or commission with ease.

Compelled by Granicus’ marketplace reputation for cutting-edge technology, Queen Creek is now adding Granicus govMeetings Peak, Video, Votecast, and Boards & Commissions to their digital civic engagement experience.

Launched: Keller, Texas, Enhances Transparency via govService

Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the City of Keller, Texas, is a longtime Granicus customer. This tight-knit suburban community is Texas’ 74th most populated city and has experienced considerable growth in recent decades, with civic engagement and participation keeping pace with the rapidly ballooning number of residents.

City workers already enjoyed the convenience and time savings associated with their existing Granicus products—govMeetings and govAccess—and officials wanted to take those improvements a step farther by implementing govService. The goal of this implementation was increased transparency, ability to hold staff accountable when routing public records requests (PRRs), and managing workflow more effectively. They turned to the trusted team at Granicus to make that happen.

The City of Keller used CARES Act funding to add govService to its suite of tools, allowing employees to improve operations and enjoy more of the Granicus product platform capabilities. govService is now live in Keller, and staff have begun using the software to handle all public records requests.
