Fund Your Stimulus Project Before It’s Too Late
Between the CARES Act’s Coronavirus Relief Fund and the American Rescue Plan’s State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, governments have been allocated over $500 billion in direct stimulus aid from the federal government. This IT-friendly, versatile funding can support a variety of digital government service initiatives. However, it’s critical to move quickly in order to determine how your government can secure these funds. By December 31, 2021, governments must have obligated their Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) or return them to the federal government. For those states and municipalities who have spent their CRF allocation, the focus shifts to how they may leverage Fiscal Recovery Funds.
Join Granicus and special guests from the Grants Office on-demand for advice on having these timely conversations at your government, as well as guidance on developing proposals that can help secure these funds for your Granicus project. We’ll briefly cover the eligible expenses for both funding buckets, and then discuss best practices for developing a proposal that can fit either funding stream.
