About the position:
Reporting to the VP of Product Development, you will be an important part of the Product Development team to take on development of new products, software upgrades, and stabilizing our current product.

Responsibilites:

• Develops and maintains Granicus software products
• Troubleshoot and debug code
• Creatively solve problems and successfully contribute to various phases of the software development life cycle
• Work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization

Preference given to candidates with:

• 4 year degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent education / experience
• 0-2 years work experience developing software
• Exposure to software engineering practices and application development skills utilizing C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML, Javascript, XML Web services
• Knowledge of PHP, .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2005/2008, Networking, and application and web security
• Understanding of a software development life cycle and formal development processes
• Exposure to SQL relational databases, such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to suggest solutions and enhance efficiency of a development process
